FRS Welcomes Michael Covington
 
  

FRS is very excited to welcome Michael Covington to our software development team.  Michael joined FRS in June 2015 and has over 14 years of experience in software development.  He brings an extensive knowledge of the background screening industry, as well as designing and developing leading edge web-based applications.  Having Michael on the FRS team helps ensure we will have the resources we need to continue to grow and provide technology for meeting new demands in our software platforms.

Michael began his career in software development in 2001 working in the telecom cost management industry.  In 2008 Michael was hired by Hirease, Inc. to be their Software Development Manager.  While at Hirease, he led a team of analysts, developers and QA to develop cutting edge software specific to the background screening industry including Applicant Tracking Systems, Performance Appraisal and tracking and Leadership Assessment.  Michael is a fellow of the Dedman Center for Business Leadership, completing the program in 2013.  He is a certified SCRUM Master and he also holds a certification in Microsoft SQL Server.  Michael's experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies will help streamline our development processes and procedures.  This will help FRS better serve our customers and develop new and exciting features and platforms in the near future.
